How can I be holy? This is actually a question that I’ve asked on numerous times. I’ve asked people. I’ve asked pastors. I’ve even asked Jesus in my prayer time. How can I be holy? Today the Lord gave me an answer. He said to me, “You can’t.”

I’ll be honest this concept was a little bit of a shock to me. For so long, I’ve been trying to attain this thing called holiness. (okay some days more than others) But overall, my far reaching goal has been to attempt to be holy. And to then find out that I can’t do it. It was something serious for me.

Dear White People, YOU’RE WRONG AGAIN!!  I love hearing the conversation from people who disagree.  But when situations like the McKinney pool party arise, I find it difficult to understand WHY there is such a big, giant, trench between the two sides.  Black people on one side, and white people on the other.  Today I address the McKinney incident and point out to all my white friends why they are wrong to side with the officer, yet again!

I hate Jesus, and I’m saved.

You may be shocked by my statement.  But that’s okay.  As a Christian, I was a little shocked myself when I heard the sentiment come from my lips.  Hate for the King of the Universe?  Who does that?  Well, I do.  I’m a Bible believing Christian, who hates Jesus.

I am still learning, everything has a purpose. I say still learning because there are still times I look up to the Lord and ask the question, “Why?”, “Why can’t I just be like EVERYBODY ELSE?”.

Well the truth of the matter is. I can’t be like everyone else, because I’m not everyone else. And I don’t say this in one of those, “God made you special”, “you’re anointed to impact the world” kind of ways. While those things may be true, what’s truer is that God made me an individual, unlike anyone else, unique down to my hair, fingerprints, and DNA composition. Why? I don’t know, probably because he wanted to be able to tell me apart from the 50 Kagillion other people who have walked this planet over time. I mean, even ink pens have serial numbers.
